Safety is our number one priority

At Minnedosa Credit Union, the well-being of our members and our staff is of the most profound concern to us. We want you to know that your safety will remain our top priority as this situation continues to evolve. We are following the latest guidance from local, provincial and federal health authorities, including the Public Health Agency of Canada, to ensure our we align our practices with the latest recommendations.

If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 such as fever, sore throat or cough, please make arrangements to perform your banking through an alternative method.

If you wish to perform your banking in-person, you can protect yourself and others by:

  • Avoiding touching your face (mouth, nose or eyes)
  • Avoid greetings that involve touching, such as handshakes.
  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing, or cough or sneeze into your sleeve.
  • Minimize prolonged contact with staff and others (10 minutes or less)
  • Maintain at least a two-metre space (six feet) between yourself and others.

Be vigilant in the fight against fraud

There have been reports of multiple phishing scams related to COVID-19. Many are asking people for credit card information to provide medication following a positive test result. This is not a call than Manitobans would receive from public health officials. Manitobans are advised not to provide any financial data, hang up on the call and to report to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre at (toll-free) 1-888-495-8501.
